Gulf War Illness Study

Introduction

Since the Vietnam War and continuing through two Gulf Wars, exposure to chemical substances during combat duty has become a substantial hazard to our troops. Whether from herbicides, pesticides, fuels, paints and experimental vaccinations or oil fires, air pollution, chemical weapons and depleted uranium munitions, those who serve in war zones face increasing numbers and types of battlefield related toxins.

Detoxification Defined

The removal of poisons or toxins, or the effects of such, from the body of an individual.
